Color and blonding
What's the difference between balayage and highlights?
Highlights use foils from close to the root for even, all-over brightness. Balayage is painted by hand with a softer root, so it grows out gradually and needs fewer touch-ups.
Can I go from dark hair to blonde in one appointment?
Sometimes, but healthy hair usually gets there in two or three sessions. We'll tell you honestly at the consultation.
How often should I get my color done?
All-over color and root touch-ups: about every four to six weeks. Balayage: often every three to four months, with a gloss in between.
Can you blend my gray instead of covering it?
Yes. Gray blending softens the contrast so regrowth is far less obvious, which means fewer appointments.
Cuts and styling
Do you cut curly hair?
Yes. Curly cuts are done dry, curl by curl, so the shape works with your natural pattern. Come with your curls styled the way you usually wear them.
Do you do bridal hair?
Yes, in the studio, with a trial beforehand. Call to check dates for bridal parties.
Booking
What is your cancellation policy?

Marlowe & Vine is in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Many clients come from Ammon and Iona.
What are your hours?
Tuesday to Friday 9am to 7pm, and Saturday 9am to 3pm.
